I have severely dry hair that gets frizzy in any season. And it takes a lot of effort to keep them looking presentable and maintain them. My hair has a high porosity, which means it doesn't let much moisture in. Only if I could get the moisture to lock in would they stay hydrated. Trichup Damage Repair Keratin Shampoo and Hair Mask, which doubles as a hot oil treatment, were sent by Vasu Care. Today I'll be discussing my thoughts on these two products.

Keratin is a hair protein that serves as a foundation for our hair. Keratin is also the most talked-about treatment for damaged hair. I'd never had it on my hair before and was eager to give it a shot. I was excited to try this hamper from Trichup.

How To Use Trichup Keratin Shampoo?


This is a Keratin-infused shampoo, but it should be used like any other shampoo.
  • Wet your hair and scalp.
  • Pour a small amount of shampoo into the palm of your hand.
  • Make a lather with some water.
  • Apply an equal amount of this mixture to your scalp.
  • Apply the lather to the tips of your hair as well.
  • Massage your scalp and hair thoroughly.
  • Pour clean water over the shampoo to rinse it out.
  • Pat dry with a towel before applying the conditioner/hair mask.

My Experience


Using the right shampoo can improve the appearance and feel of your hair. I prefer to use an ayurvedic shampoo that is free of parabens and SLES. Trichup shampoo is also free of these potentially harmful chemicals.
Trichup Keratin shampoo thoroughly cleanses the hair and scalp. It removes the oil and grime in a single wash. Hair smells nice after washing, but the scent fades quickly.
After each wash, my hair feels softer, nourished, and bouncy. Though it takes time to improve the texture of the hair, I can see a significant improvement in the hydration of my hair.
The quantity provided with the shampoo is adequate, and I only require a small amount to last me a couple of months.

When dealing with rough and dry hair, a hot treatment mask is a must. Trichup Damage Repair Keratin hair mask is a tub of hair goodness. This hair mask contains Keratin, a hair protein derived from Cysteine. It provides maximum strength and shine to the hair.
Keratin coats the hair shaft, reducing frizz, roughness, and split ends. Keratin also aids in the binding of moisture to the hair, improving shine and lustre.

How To Use Trichup Keratin Hair Mask?

  • Begin with damp, clean hair, preferably after shampooing.
  • Apply from the scalp to the ends of the hair.
  • Using your thumb and index finger, massage from the root to the tip.
  • Leave for 10-15 minutes, or longer if time allows.
  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  • Allow to air dry before styling.

My Experience

I don't want to sound too enthusiastic, but I believe this is one of the products I should have tried sooner. My hair is dry, and it is in desperate need of moisture. They absorb moisture due to their high porosity, but the moisture is swept away as soon as I wash them. Keratin coats the hair and forms a layer, allowing moisture to be retained. I've been using this hair mask for two weeks and have used it three or four times, and I love the difference it makes in my hair after each use. My hair has become softer and shinier. They appear to be less frizzy and more manageable to me. I hope to see better results with each use.
